Club Meeting on 28.2.2011
This week our in house speaker is none other than the only Murut in our club, Rotarian George Taitim. He has first hand in depth knowledge about the Murut Culture and some of the practices still occuring today especially the traditional grinding of teeth to symbolize adulthood. Rtn Alex Sham announced that our club has recaptured the title of best performance, best theme and best dressed. We also recognize and acknowledge Mr. Kevin Siaw for his generosity to sponsor our advertisement for the fund raising events.
Living Water Project 27/2/2011
Living Water Project was a joint project between BEST and Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu. The locations are at Kg Terongonggan Laut and Kg Terongonggan Darat. The project consists of two water wells equip with automatic water pumps at a dept of 120 ft. The project is going to benefit 700 residents from two kampongs. This project also reduce their dependency on rain water which was the only source of water the kampong depend.
International Night on 26/2/2011 was to celebrate the creation of Rotary Movement in the world for international understanding and peace. The night came with performances by the 7 Rotary clubs to display different cultures all over the world and fellowship among Rotarians and friends. Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu won the best performance, theme and dress of the night. 
Club meeting on 21/2/2011
In line with Rotary Calender, February is dedicated as International Understanding and World peace, this week guest Mike Alfred had gave a talk on background and history of New Orlean, Louisiana, United State. Interestingly to know the city is also as diverse as any other cities with distinctive cultures and traditions yet all live in harmony and peace.
PP Dr Barrow on dot this day 21/2/2011 turned 70s and Rizal claimed he turned 17 only.

Club Meeting on 14/2/2011
In line with RI month of February dedicated to International Understanding and World peace. We had our PP Dr Barrow to talk on the subject during the club meeting. To most of the members surprise there are many worthy facts in Rotary that many do not know. Such as Rotary only became a international organization in 1912 and Rotary assisted United nations to charter the constitution.
